Utah Vacation & Savannah Adoption Finalization

We all traveled to Utah in the beginning of June to finalize the adoption of our beautiful baby girl Savannah.  This took place on June 4, 2008.  We are so happy to have the process behind us. We have been blessed with two very wonderful girls through the love of two birth-mothers who allowed us to be a family. Words will never express the love we have for them, and we our thankful to have them part of our family. We had a wonderful time celebrating the uniting of our family with everyone. We took Brianna and Savannah on there first hike up  Timpanogos Cave. Brianna did awesome, she hiked right up the trail without a problem. She enjoyed being in the Cave, but mostly liked to see snow on the trail at the exit of the Cave. Savannah kept her mom warm by hanging out in the baby carrier, she didn't mind all the work her mom had to do while hiking for two. We also took a family trip to Zion's National Park, with Grandma, grandpa and all of the aunt's, uncles and cousins.  We camped out for the first time with kids, a almost 4 year old and a 6 month old!!!!   Lucky for us we have daughters with nature in them and they both did wonderful.  Brianna had a BLAST playing with all of her cousins.  Brianna loved hiking and would have hiked far into the Narrows with dad except he had to remind her it would get too tough for a little girl of almost four. I think she would have just kept going if we would have let her.  The water was also a big hit for the two girls, they both love swimming and splashing around. Overall we had a wonderful but too short of a trip. Brianna and Savannah have especially missed all of the cousins since we've been home; things are just a little too quiet around our house. They also miss grandma and grandpa.  We hope to be back soon to visit and catch up all our friends.  So here we go the start to blogging, it's kinda fun!!!
