We just got back from a visit to Chicago, Illinois to celebrate Grandma's Birthday. She wants everyone to think she is really young so I won't tell you her age. Either way above is a picture of all of us at there house. There is Grandma, Grandpa, aunt Sharon, Pat, Amy, Brianna and Savannah.
Above is the birthday celebration day, Brianna was very excited to help grandma celebrate especially when they kept including her in remembering birthdays. Brianna helped pick out the cake, ice cream, balloons and plates for her grandma's birthday. I think they had a lot of fun and had a very happy birthday.
Here is cute Savannah in Grandma's garden. Grandma picked one of her flowers to put in her hair, doesn't it look so cute. She left it there for awhile and then tried to eat it. This was a highlight for grandma who was so happy to have her grand-daughters there to celebrate her birthday.
This is cousin Eric who came by to help celebrate. They both liked playing around with cousin Eric, who would play race around the yard with Brianna. We also got to visit with Pat's sister Sharon who sat down and read to Brianna and Savannah. They also explored around Grandma's house and aunt Sharon told her stories of growing up with there dad. One day they might remember them and remind dad of the things he used to do to his sister. Look out Pat!

We spent most of our time at the local swimming pool. It seems I have fish for daughter's and a husband. Pat has always enjoyed swimming so it makes he happy to have his girls swim with him. This pool has a nice kid pool that is all fenced in, so you don't have to worry as much about them, and they can't get out to the bigger pool without you. So we spent most of our time there. We had a great visit to Chicago and a good break away from home. Brianna I think would have stayed there all summer if we would have let her, as long as grandma would take her swimming all the time. Happy Birthday Shirley!
